AIM is also working A-OK for me too.

I used to work for Time Warner and we often had calls regarding AIM in specific; every single time we investigated the issue it came back that there was something down on the route from your PC all the way to AIM's servers. Try tracert'ing and see if it dies.

I just checked with a friend that works for UUNet and he said at around 10PM EST they lost a whole ring on the east coast; this affected a good amount of their core routes.....

Maybe this was your AIM connectivity issue....

Thanks guys, might have been kuekie, I didn't lose all internet connections, i could get to cirtex, but not CNN (we rock!) lol
