Hi.
I want to install the CMS e107 on my site. Is this possible and if so, how do I do it? It isn't listed in Fantastico. Do I need to dl it to my desktop and upload it to a certain folder?
Thanks!

There are also many other similar choices available for instant install in Fantastico in cPanel such as Xoops, Joomla, Drupal and so on.

You also don't need to upload each file 1 by 1 - you can upload the entire archive (e.g. zip) and unzip it to the server though file manager in cPanel, just make sure you read the docs to set the correct permissions etc.

Ok, I've followed the directions and unzipped it to my site through cpanel. Now it is asking for my MySQL server information. Where do I find this info?
I need
MySQL Server:
MySQL Username:
MySQL Password:
MySQL Database: Create Database?
Table Prefix:
Not sure what to enter!

follow this guide to create a new database
http://cirtexhosting.com/tutorials/bluelagoon/blue_mysql.htm

MySQL Server: localhost
Table Prefix: you can put anything u like, e.g e107_

MySQL Server: localhost
MySQL Username: your cpanel username
MySQL Password: your cpanel pass
MySQL Database: Set that up using the link Joshua posted ^
Table Prefix: yourChoice_

A common mistake is the database name won't just be the name you enter - it as it will be your cpanel username then the DB name:

e.g. josh_mydatabase
