Interesting article. I find the concept of imprisonment as a panacea to be somewhat misguided. After all... prisons tend to make hardened criminals of young delinquents. Would such then suggest that prisons are in fact the equivalent of a college of criminality?

For some reason I never felt comfortable with the concept of a few stars of any particular sport earning far beyond reasonable salaries while the vast majority languish trying to find time to practice their hobby.

Digg schmigg. Each time I made the front page of that site, I was flooded with a bunch of nonsense traffic that stayed about two minutes and never converted. I concluded that digg is basically one big circle jerk, that only has value in terms of people all making each other feel like they are more important than they really are. I'd rather have a site listed somewhere that brings a trickle of quality traffic that at a site like digg, which will generate a torrent of wasted bandwidth.
