The DNS flip....I hate waiting

So, I got everything in position and ready to transfer my site over. Went in and flipped the name server over around noon.

So, I check 15 minutes ago and I see the new site. Well, I am all excited so I go and post a thread that everything is ok and we are all set.

Well, and here is the kicker, the thread posts in the old forum....the DNS is bouncing back and fourth (as expected).

I hate waiting :)


I know I know.....it takes 24-48 hours....but I want it done NOOOWWW :)

:) try using "ipconfig /flushdns" inside CMD (command prompt) and restarting your browser, that might speed up for ya.

Well, work seems pretty stable pointing to the new name server so I can start to work out any transition bugs.

So far all the major sections came over with no issues. The rest is just updating small scripts used here and there :)


A lot faster too...Im so happy :)
