I usually am a beer guy at the bar, so I decided something different, like a Cap'n and Coke
So I paid for one, $4.50, got through like 5, and the guy next to me goes, you know for .75 more you could have a double
It got me to thinking about how much we're ripped off today by b.s. like that
Anyone who smokes (I no longer do, but remember the days), you get a regular pack for like $4, and you can get a pack of 100's for like $4.50
So thats what pissed me off this weekend, what got you?

Gas prices
Oh sure, everybody cheers when they go down...but do they ever really go down, or do they just drop a bit to make you feel better.
$3.05 here.....Thank god I got a Hyundai Accent and only have to fill it every other week. I can still remember it being $1.20 and saying I would never pay $2.00......sigh

Living in PA as a kid, it was around $1.25, we'd go to the Jersey Shore, it would only be about $.80, then it all went kaboom, I hear ya.
My first car was an 81' Buick Electra. That car got 14 miles to the gallon. If I had that car today it would cost me $120 bucks a week just to get back and forth to work.
I can't afford to drive the same car I had 17 years ago. Now thats a sad realization.

2nd on gas prices, I'm paying 2.75 for regular in Central NJ. I usually shop around online for the best gas price since my cash flow is severely limited (yeah i got the $2.50 hosting account, ok? :D) due to the fact that money burns a hole in my pocket. luckily, I have a '85 325e (economy model) and get 25 to 30mpg city. I feel sorry for my friends who are driving there Camaros and Mustangs getting only 8-13mpg city with there 25 gallon tanks.
If you feel the need to search for better gas prices, or just want something to amaze you, vist http://www.gasbuddy.com/gb_gastemperaturemap.aspx

The cost of running a gaming community: financial and opportunity.
Oh, and I'm nearly broke. On top of that, I have to beg my parents for money for books next academic year. *Sigh* Why are college textbooks so darn expensive?! Lower the friggin' prices so us college students aren't complete broke when we get our degrees! For the love of all that is good!
