So my decent weekend got me thinking, what do I do on the weekdays to wake up before work (/ school for some of you) ... I'm just interested to see what everyone does

My personal routine, is waking up around 930 AM, have eggs & french toast, read the paper, and a cup of tea. I head down to the computer and play Red Alert by Basement Jaxx and away I go at your tickets :)

I usually wake up and just play the day as it comes, usually go out most of them, going out with friends etc

and i hate it when sunday ends, and monday begins :(

Set the alarm for 7.20am (it's been getting knocked back a minute or so it used to be 7.00am :P )

2nd alarm at 7.30

Phone alarm at 7.40

Crawl out of bed 7.50

Toilet

Go downstairs, aimlessly walk around the dining room till I realise it is 8.10 then a friend arrives to walk to college

I'm not ready - go back upstairs.

30 mins later re-appear, normally in this 30mins I've done something productive like cleaned my teeth.

Grab some stuff, books, folders, goldfish whatever is in grabbing distance

Set out to college at 8.30 / 8.40

repeat x5

and damn you Joshua that sounds like a nice start to a day!

Get ranged down by my alarm clock, smack it on the top and five minutes after the noise reappear, fubling for the OFF button. My second alarm rings I smack it, it rings again, smack it. A distant alarm clock rings - I get UP of my bed to go and smack it, and eventually after a bit of grumbling over my life go and take a shower halfawake, go eat some breakfast (in a sleepy hurry of course, since I overslept as usual) and rush out the door, usually forgetting something.

I told you to get the two letters added to your name, it's worth it LOL

Yes, I do have a nice start, but after 5 years or so of working from home, you eventually perfect it ;)

Yeps Joshua seems to have it good at the moment. ^_^

For myself, I have a weird tendency of waking before the alarm rings... but then again I also have a tendency of sleeping too late for that ability to kick in properly. Thats why I keep two alarms... set at two times... 5-10 mins from each other with the later one requiring me to get out of bed to shut it off... ;cP

A mug of choc-modified coffee and some toast, check my mail and off to work at 6am. ^_^
