So for us computer geeks, new wheels = new computer

I put a deposit down for the following:

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 4600+ (2.4ghz processor - 2.4ghz - 2000mhz ht - 256kb l1 - 1mb l2 - socket am2)
ASUS M2N-PLUS SLI Motherboard
DDR2 2 GB Ram
Sata 350 GB hard drive
DVD/RW w/ Lightscribe
GeForce 7300LE PCI-E 256 MB Video
ATX 3210-04-480w Case (see-through, cool)

You'd pay about 2 grand in the stores, but a friend of mine owns a store, so just grabbin the parts, 950$

Probably XP, I still have a valid CD, I refuse to spend money on Vista. Obviously, windows comes with 5 uses for each product code, so if someone wants to uhh .... well yah .... anyway XP, and probably CentOS

kekeke I guess you guys use CentOS for the servers... I'm more of a debian guy. I luv apt-get!!!!! its so much easier to use and alot faster (thats from what ive seen on my linux tester 1.1Ghz PIII-M). Only if CpanelX would support Debian...................

apt-get is cool, kinda like yum for centos right?

yup, apt-get is basically the same thing but it reads the the repositorys faster... so its faster grabbing files.
