backing up databases

Hello,

What is the easiest way to completely backup a website to include databases, log files, etc.

Is RSYNC capable of doing this. What are some backup methods that you employ. I am looking for something easy, effective, seamless. Cost is not a factor.

Please advise as I moved to Cirtex after being severely burned. Thank you.
