Help with a forum

Hi i have installed a forum on my pc, using mysql, php and apache, i have just uploaded the forum to my cirtex hosting server but when i browse to the site i get this error,

Fatal error: Unknown function: mysqli_init() in /home/chanmco/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 1038

I know it cant find my database but how do i go about getting the database and where do i put it?

Any help would be appreciated.

you may have a file in your forum called config.php or configuration.php edit them so they match your database settings.

You also have to set the database up through cPanel > mySQL databases, database host will be "localhost" and then use your username/password.
