Last week I wasn't even looking for a new host. But my desire for ffmpeg grew stronger, and my then host refusing to have it and insisting that ffmpeg on a shared host wouldn't work.
So I started looking around at various hosts, none were impressive until I landed somehow on Cirtex by accident, and signed up.
I *love* it here. I didn't realize how freaking slow my old host was until I got here. FTP is blazing! And importing over 1000+ family photos and videos into Gallery didn't get me a single "cpu exceeded" error like at my old host. And the few minor issues I had were resolved in under 30 minutes. I'm also impressed by the easy to find server status page and the honesty when something isn't working right.
And I'm overjoyed with the site moving service. Though I just have a small blog, I have lots of family photos and videos, and I couldn't imagine trying to move everything when my kids are screaming 'mama mama!' at me all day. So you made my life easier too!
