Ok, so im not sure where to post this question....so if you're an admin and you know where this belongs, go ahead and move it.

I was wondering if when I transfer files from my computer to my server thats currently hosted here, does this count towards my bandwidth usage? I know this seems like a newbie question to ask, but I dont want my site to go over my bandwidth limit (although with the new packages, im sure it wont - im just curious now). Thanks for the help in advance.

I believe only downloading from your server to your PC would use up bandwidth. I'd wait for an official answer as I may be wrong.

At most I would say it would use very little (any upload requires communication in which the server has to send you small packets to make sure your still there) so it may use a little bit but I don't think the amount your uploading will count towards your bandwidth limit. (Limit I am pretty sure it based on download not upload)

^ Sounds right to me. Your taking from your PC to server so it's your PC's resources that are mainly in use, it should not affect your server bandwidth resources too much except for the small data exchange as dougp said.
