I've had this domain for awhile and just found something for it. My first ajax project, however simple it is. What do you think?

I like the humor in the domain name as well as the comics themselves, but I agree, you need to do something with the overall layout.

from an aesthetics point of view, bright on black = bad on the eyes. If you need some conceptual help for a more intriguing layout, let me or the others know, and we'll be more than willing to make it a bit more pleasing on the eyes.

I guess those years of design school didn't pay off...

How many different ways could I have it laid out?
As I see it the select menu can be on the left or right and am open to suggestions.

The main thing about this little exercise is the awesome urls.

http://www.101deaths.com/comic/getfuzzy will always be today's Get Fuzzy strip and http://www.101deaths.com/comic/dilbert will always be today's Dilbert and so on. (there is one bug that would prevent this statement from being true that I haven't worked out yet.)


I made a function to output xhtml for each stylesheet in my style directory so if you use Firefox or Opera you can switch between a few style sheets I have. In response to everyones comments I've made my personal favorite style called whitewhale.
