I need help with how to make a web free template design. I know HTML and CSS. I can use Dreamweaver and I have a host. I just want to find out how to make my own template. I have been searching the web for a decent guide but found none. Can someone please point me in the right direction.
Hi again kevin,
There is quite a few tutorials out there depends on what you are searching, this one (http://www.killersites.com/Tutorials/CSS_tutorial/cssTutorialPage1.htm) is a 3 page guide which may come in handy, you can download the files they used etc.
If you have photoshop you may want to look up slicing - which is turning your image into a website.
Here (http://www.entheosweb.com/dreamweaver/default.asp) is also several tips & guides for Dreamweaver.

You need to study on using photoshop on which you can create your own template. You need to know first , the type of template you would like to design , create a flowchart and storyboard. It tells about your page layout, navigation and design of your template. Usually there is a standard size in creating a template , slice it and save the image as jpg and html. From that you can open your template to the dreamweaver and now you can debug it.
