Strange email validation never came through, but anyways, thankyou for validating me.
Ok here is my list of questions:
I run a domain that hosts a Forum on web design we opened 13th June 2004, I currently have just on 500 members. I have just been reading on web hosting Forums you guyd caught my attention with your offer.
Your offer you have posted can this also be used as hosting? I don't want to be a re-seller so can I just use that as an account?
Or on your specials you have 1000MB Special what happens if I go over my allocated space or bandwidth? I don't think I would use more than 50GB bandwidth in a month but I need reassurance if I did what steps would occur please.
Like is there anything else you offer or can another deal be done on this?
I have more questions will post when you reply.
Regards
Donna

Hi,
If you want to host a forum that's fine.
You can also host multiple sites with the 1000MB Plan but unlike reseller plans, 1000mb plan lets you host 5 seperate sites/domains total, and you can't limit them to the amount of storage & bandwidth you want etc.. but you can with reseller account.
For 1000MB Special if you go over your alloted space and bandwidth your site will be suspended and you'll be emailed. You can submit your email into cPanel and when you're at ~80% Bandwidth usage limit, you'll be notified via email so you can upgrade to another plan asap or buy more bandwidth.
We currently donnot offer any custom plans sorry.
Here's the process in which you host multiple domains with the 1000mb plan: http://cirtexhosting.com/tutorials/bluelagoon/blue_addon_domains.htm

Ok heres where I'm at, I have IPB (registered Invision Power Board) these guys are going to move my database for me I'm hoping there will be little if any downtime at all. The other thing is am unsure if my host I have now will change the name servers for me actually this is a huge fear. I acquired the domain at the same time I got my hosting I don't even have login details to change this myself where as I have 2 other domains currently parked that I can easily change the name servers anytime I wish. What happenes if these guys don't change it for me? I have had constant problems since hosting with them so it does concern me especially after what I have just been reading.
Am ready to signup new hosting now and will probably do this after I have read a little more on your site.

Hi,
Depending on who your host is, you can maybe try to transfer the domain name out of their registrar and into your own account at a reputable domain registrar such as godaddy.com & namecheap.com
Though if you registered the domain through your host for free they might take your domain as hostage if it says so in their terms of service.
I'd say you should first try contacting them and asking them to transfer the domain to another registrar before you tell them you want to cancel hosting.
In other words, tell them you want to renew the domain at cheaper price at another registrar and want to transfer it out. Then if they say yes do so immediately and transfer domain out, recommend you trying godaddy.
After you have total control over your domain then it would be safe to move out and request cancellation with them :)
Good luck.

No I paid the domain name extra on top of the hosting except they done it for me. Going to go & download all my files & contact them see what they will say if they answer :( They delete all my support requests or tell me they will get back to me but never do. Worst thing I done was recommend them to 2 others they are also in the same mess atm.
I go & do what I have to & get back to you asap K

No problem, take your time. As I said I think you should contact them to transfer domain first before letting them know you want to cancel ;)

you need to get them to unlock the domain and ask them you want to transfer domain to another registrar. If they say yes and unlock then you should transfer immediately.
