Hi.
Is there a way to see the server load?
My time zone is Central European Time CET and my feeling is that the server is faster when the US is asleep.
Do Cirtex has any strategy when assigning servers to customers not based in the US?

Regards / Stefan

You can check the current server load on the main page of your cPanel (should be listed at the left side).

As all of our datacenters are in the US, we do not have a strategy for placing customers dependent upon where they live outside the US, however we can swap your site between datacenters if you experience connectivity issues.

Ok, I'm fine with Daisy thanks!
What is the range of the server load? Right now the load is 0.46. Is that less or much?

0.46 load is fine. For our servers (most are running Quad-Core CPUs), service will not be slowed down until the server reaches 8+ load (or so). We try to keep them all running around 2, and investigate any issues which cause servers to go above 4 load for a long period of time.

Quad core's are very nice and a load of 2 or less is very good. I've seen so may other hosts off the chart. Cirtex seems to manage the load fairly well. Nobody can be perfect and it's hard to kill all the resources. For a shared environment this is more than accepatable.

Good Luck!!
