We own our own servers and equipment and simply house it in these datacenters. You cannot request a certain datacenter during purchase but if you find that you have better connectivity to a different datacenter than the one you are hosted in we can relocate your account for no additional charge. If you would like this done please contact the billing team.

Almost no host owns their own servers they all lease them. That is not a bad thing. To purchase, own and maintain their own data center would involve big $'s...can you say Ritchie Rich!!

Because of the lucrative internet it allows company's such as cirtex to lease servers and resell it to us little guys at a reasonable price.

If they are also managed well and the network they choose is decent you will see happy customers. If not then you will see other. I would like to see cirtex explore a few other networks and providers, specifically level3 and do away with that chicago network in datacenter 3. I know it's cheap but you do get what you pay for.

The 99.5% uptime stats is no longer published which is also too bad, Because they used to. Plenty of hosts do publish their uptimes, but not all hosts publish their uptimes.

I do have website monitoring but who is 100% accurate?

We do in fact own our own servers and other equipment and simply house them in the datacenters listed on our about us page.
