Questions about the basic plan.Many Questions

It said 24months is 2.99, and 12months is 3.99. Does that mean i have to pay for the whole 24months/12months, or i can pay each month separately?

I found 2 coupons, one is "GALLERY", it said "Get any package half price!", does it include the basic plan. The other one is "forum", it said "50% off for your first month or yearly payment or 50% off domains!" If i choose to get the basic plan, can i get the 50% off on my domain?(since it said "or 50% off domains")

Also.is there file restriction on cirtexhosting? For example, can i upload .htapasswd , .pl , etc...
There is cronjob and SMTP for basic plan right?

The Basic Plan is payable yearly or every two years, yearly totals $47.88 (3.99x12) and every two years totals $71.76 ($2.99x24). This must be paid at the start of the hosting and then every two years afterwards. (Not payable monthly)

Unfortunately none of the available coupons are applicable for the Basic Plan, and I do not believe they are applicable for domains either. You should try this during registration however, to check and be certain.

I'm not totally sure either but I think the coupon does apply to domain registration providing you go with a package above basic. You will have to punch the number to know for certain.

Although I don't have anything on the negative side to say about cirtex, but if you are new to hosting here is a big tip. Never signup for 1 year or 2 year package, even if the price is way better. You can always upgrade later to it. Try it out for a month, if you don't like it or it don't work for you get your small $'s back without being out much. If you accidently go over the 30 days or forget your only out a few $'s. If you go with 1 or 2 year and you are trying things out and forget or go over some hosts will say too bad keep it or your out everything.

So best to try things out anywhere whether here or anywhere else. Never commit to an extended amount of time unless you are very confident in the service.

Thanks for the suggestion dvdriot. i am going to sign up the basic plan(1year) anyway, since it said there is 30days guarantee, so even if i don't like it in 30 days, they will refund the 47.88 to me. Am i correct?

One more question. The coupon "forum" only applies to one year only? So after that year, can i downgrade to the basic plan?

Its cheaper lol to get the standard plan than basic plan if you apply the code "forum".

That is correct. The coupons only apply to the first billing cycle that you choose. All further payments after that will be for the full amount of the package.

You will be able to downgrade to the basic plan after one year if you would like to (just contact billing).
