Does that mean $20.00 ish per month for the whole year? or around $240 pre-paid for the year? Will current shared hosting accounts qualify for new accounts or refunds if we are not happy with it?

And it says cpanel, is whm included with full access to overselling bandwidth/space etc?

Also wondering if you will help install any extras or if that is up to us? such as ffmpeg, apf firewall, roundcube in webmail like regular cirtex accounts, any system harding help or tips?

It the virtuozzo itself backed up or would I have to set backups via whm?

I am guessing standard virtuozzo power panel where I can download, edit, upload, reboot, backup, restore, etc.?

The promotional coupon will be 50% off your first month, or 50% off your first year. So $20 for your first month, or $240 for the year.

Full access to root & WHM is included with HostV services.

We can help install extras however there may be costs associated, please contact sales@hostv.com for more information on the particulars of this.

I believe virtuozzo will be backing up the VPS instances, however you should make your own backups for peace of mind and ease of use. Grabbing a full VPS backup would be much more troublesome than grabbing a single users backup via WHM.

I was starting to get frustrated because I haven't been able to post in the forums of open support tickets for a couple of months (I got server errors). Finally I decided to create new usernames for both sections, and poof... it works now.

I am a little disappointed that my phone calls went unanswered though.

Anyway, now that I can finally communicate again, all is well.

I was also wondering how long the promo coupon for 50% yearly stands or might be valid for? Kind of tapped out right now with christmas, but I am definately interested and crunching the numbers and figures.

And also if the cirtexhosting affiliate program will track the hostv sales as well or if there will be another affiliate program for it.

12 hours in and I already had to reinstall my VPS OS... I broke it =( Cirtex probably could have fixed it for me, but there was no data yet, so I didn't want to bug them to fix a problem I caused.

So... don't use the "Reinstall VPS" feature in Virtuozzo... It will kill WHM/cPanel along with other extras that Cirtex installs.

I ended up having to ask for help anyway.

Maybe that option should be disabled.

Bah! I wish you would have posted this like 10 minutes ago... I just opened a help ticket myself. :( At first I thought I did it wrong because I figured you had done it successfully... but now I see. Oh well, this is my first experience with a VPS so I'm glad I'm learning these things now before I put my live sites on there. :)

I guess the best thing to do is make a backup in Virtuozzo once they install cPanel/WHM again since I only get one backup I might as well make it a fresh install. :D

yeah about hosttv, I think its a bit expensive, paying $12 for 1.5Tb and $119.99 for 2Tb, I mean I know you get a virtual server but my main concern is bandwidth. Can you offer some sort of customised solution, for example not a very fast vps/dedicated server but with lots of bandwidth?
