Thanks much for the gifts. I do have a question though. It says to select 2 of the 3 gifts but the gift form does not let you do this. The Gifts web page actually says one gift per person. Should this be 1 or 2 of 3 gifts? I am not trying to be greedy on my gifts. Just wanted to point this out.

Merry Christmas and look forward to my mug.

Any chance of a close up of the graphic? I didn't see an "enlarge" link.

Hi

We're allowing US + Canada customers only, other than that the shipping cost will be very great and cause much troubles for shipping unfortunately :\

If anyone outside US Customer really wish to receive these items, please let me know and we can arrange maybe for you to pay the shipping.

Cheers

Would our names not be shown with the photos we submit, and are we able to conceal a part of our face with the item? Just privacy conscious :p
Looks like a cute pictures on the items. :)

Merry Xmas!

A close up or larger picture of the items would be nice. I honestly can't tell exactally what the graphics are or say. Not a big deal but would be cool to take a closer look.

WHAT THE HELL!!!

All of us not in US or CANADA are just the same as everyone else, We Pay our bills, We are with Cirtex and this is the crap we get, Getting told you cant have it unless you live in US or CANADA and if you want it really bad then we gotta Pay! This is ridiculous, Im paying you more then enough already each month and I dont get a thing back. All I get back is having to wait 2 hours for live help, loads of cutouts because cirtex's servers are down again.

They're providing this as a gift, it's not something that comes with your paid package so they can decide who gets it and who doesn't get it. When was the last time you saw any other hosting company offer something like this. Christ almight, Cirtex offers this good gesture and you bombard them with a hate post. I wouldn't give you a gift even if you were in North America.

Easy guys. No need to bash each other over the head.

It's a gift... It's probably worth $2.50... I don't think it's worth getting all worked up over.

The blocks are all blank to me. Only two seem to be clickable, and the resulting page is blank also.

jonfhancock
12-22-2007, 10:07 PM
I think the blocks are placeholders for future client photos. No one has sent any in yet. The gifts to choose from are a mouse pad, a mug, and a clock. All of them have the Cirtex logo and some other graphics on them.

When you fill out the form, it asks which gift you want.

Maybe you should of thought of at least something for non US & Canada customers, after all we are all part of the same community. Showing special treatment is like saying have a nice day trot on. I do understad where you're coming from with shipping costs etc. But we could of been offered a alternative like a % off our next bill etc or some sort of service via the internet (download etc of some kind of thing you thought of?).

Feel like I been shit on to be honest (pardon my language).

Jordy26
12-23-2007, 04:52 PM
EXACTLY. Novice-Man gets my point exactly. We are all the same but when it comes to the gifts only us & canada. Novice-Man was right in the part about saying we should at least get SOMTHING like % off next bill ect, nice idea.

dvdriot
12-24-2007, 04:14 AM
You folks do make a decent point. Although shipping internationally is expensive and would be more than the product is actually worth, a % or $ amount off sounds like something to consider for those that fall into that category. Even if it's not much it could be a simple thanks for your business, we appreciate you.

But...
Then you are going to also get some u.s. residents that will say I want x amount of dollars off my bill instead of the item. Or why wasn't I informed or told about this sometime down the road someone will be ticked too.

I don't know what the perfect sollution is. Who would have thought all this would have created so much confussion.

I'm not picking any sides here, I think everyone is equal in this and maybe some kind of comprimise can be reached for everyone.

Novice-Man

I know to save shipping costs offer every non US & Canada person a free upgrade to VPS

Novice-Man
12-24-2007, 08:15 AM
I know why not offer everyone from non US & Canada a free upgrade to VPS for same price per month (nice try yes!) :P

dvdriot
12-24-2007, 09:11 AM
Although vps is free setup it's alot more confusing than what it appears and sounds like or looks like.

jonfhancock
12-24-2007, 12:00 PM
Ha! You're telling me! I've already broken my VPS once, and I've only had it for 2 days!

There is a saying that goes with root access: "With great power comes great responsibility." When you're root, it's way too easy to kill your server.

The arguments regarding the gifts are well made, but you're acting like a child..."I didn't get a gift this Christmas", which isn't what Christmas is about.

is getting a gift really all that big of a deal, come on act your age, ive read through this whole forum and saw more childish act then i see in school everyday. Cirtex doesn't want to pay more then the gifts are worth, that the simple answer, big deal. Christmas or what ever your calibrating is about family and friends. so get over it and suck up your tears

Jermaine

no its much of a real big deal, buts its a very nice gesture. And for someone to "mood swing" over not getting a gift is just rediculous.
Cirtex excellent has been a pretty good gift to considering other i been on have been horrid.
