What is bbDKP?
Well bbDKP is essentially derived from phpBB3 + eqDKP.
Well what is phpBB3? and eqDKP?
eqDKP was a web based management system that was originally designed as a reward/spend system for people raiding in EverQuest hints it's name eqdkp (Ever Quest, Dragon Kill Points) But since most of the fan base has gone over to world of warcraft the web based system is primarily developed for world of warcraft players, as a earn/spend reward system for raiding.
phpBB3 is a new release from its very popular predecessor, phpBB2. But, what phpBB is a php based forum system. It allows its user to post,view, download, cast polls, private message content between each other.
bbDKP has integrated a raid management tool (eqDKP) and an interactive forum(phpBB3) to allow guilds/clans, or a group of friends to manage their DKP from raiding while also allowing them to communicate and spread ideas, ask questions, and essentially creating an online portal to manage every aspect of their guild/clan.
bbDKP is free and released under the GNU GPL.
bbDKP curently supports World of Warcraft,
and Lord of the Rings Online.
