Need help!!!

I'm not very experienced in web design but I know a little html.
I have created a simple html site that I know works because I've used it with a different host, so the problem is not with the code. I just can't figure out the Cirtex control panel. I create a new html file but it doesn't work. the big problem is that image files don't show up.
Is there a way that I can just past the html code somewhere and the site will show up when people visit it?? I'm sure there is, I must just be confused by the user interface.

Did you just sign up? If so did you just change the domain nameserver to cirtex? If so you may want to want until your domain is resolve.

I signed up yesterday and registered a new domain.
how long does it take for the domain to be resolved?

usually 24 - 48 hrs. though you can try using the temp url to check out your site servername.cirtexhosting.com/~username or you can use via ipaddress/~username

do make sure you have also change the nameserver info to the correct one.
