anybody here willing to make a banner for one of my forums. i have no knowledge of image nor programs and i want this banner to look clean.
basically im using a phpbb prosilver layout and im creating a jeep enthusiast forum. i just need something simple and clean. but i dont want a solid blue background as that just seems like too much blue. maybe something like the cirtex hosting banner would be great.
i would be very thankful for anybody whom could help me out with this.

Do you have any images in mind? What are the size limitations? Do you want it in high-res or standard-res quality (300 dpi vs. 72 dpi respectively)?

i would like it to be 750w and quality doesnt matter to me, maybe one of each for comparison if you could.
only words i want on the banner would be. Title: JeeperTalk Subtitle: Jeep Discussion Forum
i would like the whole thing to be black and white and to use one or both of these images.

Okay, well, unless you edit the "overall_header.html" file in the directory: "your_forum/styles/prosilver/template/..." and make the site logo a fixed background image, you'll break the look of your forum header.
Just thought I'd give you a heads up on that.

what do you suggest i do otherwise?
i was planning on going in and completely getting rid of the phpbb header and replacing it with one of my own.

Oh okay, well then, that should be fine then. I was just saying in case you were thinking about keeping the default header.

Give me a few days (most likely by the weekend) to get something back to you in this thread. I'm sort of bogged down with various papers, mid-term exams, and such on my end this week.

Not a problem, glad to help out. ;)
I got some time burn and decided to make this simple banner. The jeep looks a little stretch since I can't find the same photo with a higher resolution ;) The font is a little weird, not too sure which font to use though :)
Do tell me what you think
