We have just updated our exclusive Video Script auto-installer to also offer options to install Clipbucket and Vidiscript in addition to PHPmotion. For those who have not used it yet you can find the feature by logging into your CPanel account and looking under the Software / Services heading.

The option to install is not in my cPanel ( hosted on Daisy ) !?
Also, seeing as php 4 is now end of life is this the php 5 version or do you get the choice? (can't believe they are talking about php version 6 now and you guys still have version 4 as default!)

Hi,
I'll check with Andrew to get DAISY fixed for PHPMotionv2 Installer.
As for PHP4 vs PHP5, we support both but you'd be surprised how many scripts still have issues with PHP5 ;) Many are just not fully tested with PHP5 or still have few small compatibility issues with it.
We've tried upgrading on one server to php5 as default and it was a nightmare, so we downgraded and are looking into waiting a bit longer as well as making sure all customers update their scripts soon.
Cheers

Link now appears on cPanel but when i click it i get a 404 NOT FOUND:
Not Found
The server was not able to find the document (./frontend/x3/pminstall) you requested.
Please check the url and try again. You might also want to report this
error to your webhost.

Hi,
The only issue we have with the installer is on ONE Server, thats Daisy Server, and we're in touch with cPanel to check what the issue is.
Thanks!

Using the installer, I'm getting the following error code:
ERROR L01
Last night when I tried (a few different times) I was getting:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/pminstall/versions/2i1/cmd.php has expired or is corrupt.
This is on "scratchy" server. Any suggestions?

There was an issue with the licensing server not recognizing Scratchy. The issue has been fixed now so you shouldn't see any further issues.
Additionally, the issues with the installer on Daisy have been resolved. It was an isolated issue on that server along.
Let us know if anyone sees any further errors.

more problems on Daisy.... the auto install seemed to work - however, when i tried to uplaod a video the uploader first of all got a 404 error because the auto installer didnt install any of the required files in the cgi-bin. So i uploaded them from the files i downloaded on the phpmotion website. now when i try and upload i am getting a 500 internal server error - but i don't know what it is.

The issue biggles was facing on Daisy has been resolved. The problem was a subdomain issue unrelated to the installer.

Any update on whether this is working for you? All servers have had this installed and it should be working for everyone.

Hi,
I have just bought your "standard package" and "domain".
"itchy" server and now domain name resolved and can access FTP software using domain name , instead of IP.
I'd like to install phpmotion, so I clicked PHPmotion Installer , and get error below
PHPmotion Auto-Installer
ERROR S10
it seems that installer automatically made detabase in mysql and user also, but couldn't install PHPmotion.
Is there any help for me ??

Hi there,
I have installed php motion through your control panel and everything seems fine.
But when I registered and attempted a video upload, nothing happens?
Please can you help me with this?

I'm having this problem to:
!Error - Error writing to settings file - check that the 'classes' folder is CHMOD correctly and try again
Also, why do this happen? goto this page:
http://spoiledvids.com/play.php?vid=85
Now if you look at the first box on the right, my url paths to the video have an extra / in them.
