Installing Forums

I want to get a hosting plan through Cirtex Hosting. But I want to set up a forum, and before I jump into getting a plan, how would I install a forum to use? I have no idea how it is done. I didnt see a tutorial on how this is done.

we have fantastico which allows you to auto-install forums such as phpbb and invision board and so on.
