Hi :)

Ive been hosted here for alittle over 2 months now and my small project is almost ready for the public...

Its a community site for a game called Lineage II (later i will include other games) but if you dont mind can u tell me what you think about it and give any suggestions or idea...

So far i included a toplist for people to list there private lineage 2 servers, a community forum, chatroom , gallery (forum/chatroom/gallery are all intergrated), guestbook ,a and at the moment im finishing up on a news system...

none of the graphics are ready yet so most of them or taken from screenshots of the game...

Edit: I looked at each CMS and Xoops is a pretty good manager for a gaming site.. all this time it was just laying there O.O
anyways do u suggest a different one.. my site is mostly game related you can view it here: www.gamerzhope.com
and alot of those features i put there my self and integrated like the chatroom/gallery/forums etc. and Xoops provide those features only thing missing would be the toplist :)

Cool site Gamerzhope, just a couple of suggestions. If I was you I would change the entrance font (can hardly read what it says) as well as the text color of the main page. You have it in white right now and it's hard to read because of the background.

That Image is very slow to load. I suggest you save it to .gif so it loads quicker.

Also maybe putting a nice backlink to cirtex after all the help that has being given.

Very nice design though.

Needs some CSS work to make the fonts look pwittiful.

You dont need enter page (size of image 750k)
Banner 470 k resize and convert to jpg
Too much empty tabs (keep only active and add new only when you have content for them) - same for sponsors.
Change skins for guest book, news , chat room to match front page design.
And format text, make space left and right and use center

And yeah i have gotten alot of help here lol with all the scritps and so on.
I was planning on adding an affilate link of Cirtex in case anyone else wanted hosting... If not i can add a powered by Cirtex link or banner at the bottom of the website...


And i don't know much about CSS the website it self is a template someone gave me there back link is at the bottom as well...

And i agree with the images, ill change them to gif and see how fast they load..

And i cant do anything much with the empty spaces :)
there kinda permanent its just an html template... so i cant really remove them and add them later without destroying the look of the site (tried many times)

what i really want to do is use XOOPS... and set up a site with a forum and a few of there modules. some of there modules do exactly what my site does with alot more ease.. They have modules for uploading movies, guestbook, picture, forums, and alot more...

Im working on a site powered by XOOPS... well any CMS that would work good for a gaming site or portal with alot of features...

Im currently working on my website right now but i might be selected to go to Iraq so i dont know how much time i got left to work on it :)


Anyways i really appreciate the advise and as soon as i can get everything done and update the site with your suggestions ill post another reply to get another review thanks :)

The text is really hard to read since it's white and the image is 50% white (or off-white).

I know why it is taking long to load... you are using MKPortal, it really uses up resources. I used it once before and had to remove it because of the resource factor. If a lot of people are on then you might crash your account.

and i didnt know about that resource thing...
