How do we get started with Ruby on Rails? Do we need to download it to the server or something??

Ever since I got the email I have been researching RoR and played with it a little. I am loving it the more I play with it and I think that it will make it much easier for small webmasters like many here to not only design their site but give it the funcionality they need with out having to pay someone else ore looke for and open source solution because rarely will you find one that does everything you want the way you want it. I hope to see and active discussion on RoR here and also hope to be part of it. I'm also hoping to get my Blog that will document my learning the language up and running either tonight or tomorrow, I'll post it once I get it set up a little.

Aside from all that thanks for leading me to such and interesting system and it's still new enough that I won't feel so left behind as I did with PHP. I'm really excited about getting into it and seeing how flexible it really is.
